Hadji Abokar Omar Adani, a great
Somali businessman believed to be the man that brought
the current president Sharif Sheik Ahmed into the
political platform, put colossal conditions in his
support to the new government.
After having crucial meeting
with kinsmen of Warsengeli sub-clan of Abgal clan in
Hawiye tribe, they agreed to support the new government
if it is ready to meet their needs including;
1.To pay the funds which Addani spent during the
struggle of the Islamic Courts Union in 2006.
2.if Sharif Ahmed who is heading the current government
could not afford to pay the expense he should allow the
following demands.
A) the government have to name the governor of Banadir
province for a man belonging to Warsengeli sub-clan.
B) to promise that the natural seaport of Elmaán outside
of Mogadishu should keep operating.
C)Warsengeli sub-clan should be given free access to the
usage of the main Mogadishu seaport both import and
export without taxation.
Abokar Omar Addani who was the financer of the Islamic
Courts Union during their six months rule in much of
southern and central Somalia before been driven out of
Somalia by the Ethiopian troops backing the weak
