
Somalia:Government to establish Mogadishu security.

A security committee, that recently being appointed by
the Somalia's president, said on Monday that they will
deploy joint police forces in the police stations in all
Mogadishu's neighborhoods as part of establishing the
security in the war-ravaged capital.
Speaking to the reporters in Mogadishu, the head of the
committee Abdalla Boos said they are taking very
necessary steps to ensure the security in the city
arranging troops in all the 16 districts in Mogadishu.
He also ordered total removal of all the checkpoints in
the city within 48 hours and warned any move might
damage the traffic of the civilians. government set up
several roadblocks on the main streets inside the
capital where they take money from the public buses.
This is a security establishment to pave the way for the
extended Somali parliament which is expected to settle
in the capital where partly controlled by the rebel
Islamic movements.
It is not yet clear how the security measures will
effect throughout the capital as most of the city became
strongholds of heavily armed rebel Islamists
residents in Mogadishu are worrying about the
possibility of more conflict if the joint troops try to
reach areas controlled by Al-Shabab and Islamic party
militias who earlier vowed to face war against the new
government and African Union peacekeepers.
