The radical Islamist group of Al-Shabab claimed the
responsibility of a mortar attack hit the main seaport
in Mogadishu where a ship was unloading a military
supply to the African peacekeeping troops, Islamist
website published on Thursday

in a statement posted on their Islamic website, Al-Shabab
group said they had fired several mortars at the airport
targeting what they called 'the enemy's vessel' carrying
the military supply. "we have hit the right target,
several mortars landed on the ship" said in the report.
media reports said three somali civilians killed in the
shelling as the work was halted but no casualty was
reported on the African peacekeepers which keeps the
security of the airport.

Spokesman of the Islamist radical group of Al-Shabab
Mokhtar Robow Abu-Mansor on Thursday strongly denied
that he had talks with the new president Sharif Sheik
Ahmed and said he will never open dialogue with the
government.
In a press conference held in Baidoa, southwest Somalia,
Abu-Mansor said none of our group tried to contact with
Sharif Sheik Ahmed calling some of the media reports as
baseless and fabrication.
