spokesman of the Islamist radical group of Al-Shabab
Mokhtar Robow Abu-Mansor on Thursday strongly denied
that he had talks with the new president Sharif Sheik
Ahmed and said he will never open dialogue with the
government.
in a press conference held in Baidoa, southwest Somalia,
Abu-Mansor said none of our group tried to contact with
Sharif Sheik Ahmed calling some of the media reports as
baseless and fabrication.
"There can be no negotiations with the current
government and our fighters are ready to go battle with
the foreign troops and the government, the current
president has nothing difference with the former warlord
Abdulahi Yusuf "said Abu-Mansor.
He added that what his group want is to rule the country
with the Islamic sharia and nothing then that will be
accepted.
"we again appeal to the African Union to withdraw their
troops from our country and it is unfortunate that more
foreing troops will be deployed as we see that a ship
carrying military supply docked at the main Mogadishu
seaport and that is not what we can accept,"said Al-Shabab
spokesman.
