The chairman of Hisbul Islam (Islamic Party)
Sheik Omar Imam said on Sunday his Party does not
absolutely recognize the government of national unity
led by Sharif Sheik Ahmed and denied that their sides
accepted the ceasefire call by the clan and religious
leaders.
He also stressed that his group was not
agreed on the idea of the recent fighting happened in
the capital giving his sorrow over the casualty caused
by the war.
Talking to the local media in Mogadishu, Imam said there
is no government exist in the country and strongly
opposed to the yesterday’s remarks by the president
saying that he agrees to introduce Sharia law in Somalia
as some thing aimed to sympathize the society.
“Hisbul Islam was not in unity with the war happened in
the city, our plan was to wage the war by avoiding
casualty on the civilians,” said sheik Imam giving no
details about those who were responsible for the last
fighting.
Earlier, Imam told to the reporters that his group’s
current agenda is not to engage war by the time they are
in the process of completing the structure of the
organization.
Hisbul Islam’s leader accused the African Union
Peacekeepers in Mogadishu of subjecting constant
harassments to the civilians and vowed to continue the
war against them until their last soldier pull out of
the country.
