Local medical officers in the hospital confirmed
Waagacusub Media about the news of MSF’s aid suspension
after some of the agency’s officers in Nairobi received
life threats from some of already fired local workers.
The threat says that MSF could no longer operate in
Galkaayo which forced the agency to issue a statement
announcing that it suspended temporarily its aid
operations as confidential sources told Waagacusub.
It is the second day that the hospital in southern
Galkaayo which laid by many patients with different
wounds did not operate
Efforts to restart the agency’s medical aid are now
under way by the officials and intellectuals of Galmudug
state.
