Spokesmen for the new transitional federal government
led Sharif Sheik Ahmed and Islamic Court Union (ICU)

“We made progress in the meeting with president Sharif
Sheik Ahmed, we agreed to work out the peace in the
country particularly to establish the security in the
capital and also to set up a committee that can care
children whose fathers killed in the war with the Ethiopian
troops,” said Abdirihin Isse Adow, the ICU spokesman

Adow added that they will launch an investigation and
track down those responsible for the mortar shelling
that hit villa Somalia to be brought before justice.
“it did not happen as intended, they want a return fire
from the African Union troops but the president ordered
not to respond any mortar attack from rebels to save
civilians,” said Addow.
